PYRAMID LAKE SEASON 2021-2022

If you are new to fishing Pyramid Lake Nevada for the world’s largest cutthroat trout you might not be aware of the season dates. We’ve had a lot requests lately to book before the season opener so we thought a notification would be helpful. The season for fishing for non-tribal members is Oct. 1-June 30. Please read all Tribal regulations for further guidance.

We are awaiting Tribal approval on guide licenses, should be soon! Thanks for your patience. 🎣

NOW BOOKING FOR 2019-2020

The time is almost upon us! Just 6 weeks away! The opener on October 1 is usually busy on the lake, and the fishing is decent. The water temps are still warm but float tubers and boaters tend to do well. Bait balls can usually be seen at this time. We usually watch for the lake to turn over and the water temps to drop, which allows the shore fishing to get really good just after Thanksgiving. We have partnered with a couple of boat guides, and a float tube guide as well. So if you are going to be out for the opener and need a vessel with a guide let us know!

OCTOBER FISHING- ALGAE BLOOM

The season is underway and reports are good. Float tubers are doing well with their lines in deeper waters. The lake has a large algae bloom right now, once it clears out the shore fishing should get really good!

MARCH FISHING ON PYRAMID LAKE

The fishing is great right now on Pyramid Lake! We recently had the pleasure of guiding five gentlemen out from Southern Utah. The guys were experienced Anglers and a blast to fish with. They were very dedicated and had 181 fish to the net during their 3 day trip! Including 82 on the third day with a 10+ pounder in there!

Indicator and streamer fishing are both doing well, so get out there and let’s see how many fish you can land! We’d love to see your pictures and please follow us on Instagram and Facebook!
